Program in Jewish Studies

The Program in Jewish Studies is an academic program open to students from all backgrounds, Jewish and non-Jewish.


Internship in Jewish Studies

The Internship in Jewish Studies (JWST 3930) brings together Jewish Studies and students' professional paths by placing them in a non-profit organization, educational institution, political office, medical school, or other site for a semester of service-learning.


  • Students work 7-10 hours per week at their internship site.
  • Students attend a weekly class to learn about leadership, workplace ethics, and how Jewish Studies can inform their professional lives.
  • Students earn 3 credit-hours for this course.
