Interdisciplinary Certificate Details
The Interdisciplinary Honors Studies Certificate focuses on developing critical thinking skills and the ability to successfully engage with a diverse audience on a wide variety of topics. This certificate is a separate path from the thesis process within A&S Honors, and students can choose to do both or neither.
To ensure completion of the certificate, students should:
- Check their progress by running a Degree Audit as they approach graduation.
- Email Dr. Hickcox to confirm their progress and certificate completion during their final semester.
- Complete a Program Exit Survey sent by Dr. Hickcox after confirming they are on track to complete the certificate.
- Ensure their home address is updated in the CU system prior to graduation, as the paper certificate will be mailed to them after graduation.
The certificate will be awarded by the Registrar's Office and will appear on the student's official transcript.
