Promoting at the Law Faculty
Promoting involves researching and writing a dissertation under the supervision of a professor. The research area can vary, and the faculty encourages inspiration from the stories of other PhD students.
The Promotion Process
The promotion process typically takes four to six years. At the beginning of the first year, the research proposal is developed, and agreements are made with the supervisors regarding the content, planning, and guidance of the process.
PhD Education Programme
All PhD students are required to follow the extensive PhD education programme. The regular education programme starts every year in September and runs until the beginning of the summer.
Becoming a PhD Student
The faculty has a specific admission and enrollment procedure for PhD students. There is a separate procedure for contract and external PhD students.
