Introduction
The Exchange Programme - Humanities is a non-degree programme for exchange students. The programme is part of the Faculty of Humanities and consists of English taught courses on bachelor level for students with at least one year of academic background in the relevant study area. It is open to exchange students of the Faculty of Humanities. Students from other faculties can apply for most courses as well, but priority is given to (exchange) students of the Faculty of Humanities.

Study Areas
The English taught courses are categorized by department and divided into courses without and with entry requirements. When in doubt about the entry requirements, please note the following departments of the Faculty of Humanities:

Course Registration
(Conditionally) Accepted students in the Exchange Programme - Humanities will receive course registration information by email from the International Office.
Courses Outside the Programme
Students in the Exchange Programme - Humanities are allowed to take up to 12 EC outside the programme at another department/faculty. However, Humanities students will have second priority as the faculties and departments will place their own students first. The possibility to take courses outside the Exchange Programme of Humanities depends on the approval of the International office of the faculty to which the courses belong.
Courses in Master Programmes
Students who meet the academic requirements can apply for courses of the Graduate School of Humanities. Participation in master courses is subject to approval of the Admissions Committee of the Master programme and the available places. Confirmation of placement in Master courses can only be given a few weeks before the start of the semester.
Additional Information
The Exchange Programme of Humanities works closely together with the Exchange students (bachelor) Exchange Programme Social and Behavioural Sciences. Students can take Bachelor courses from the Exchange students (bachelor) Exchange Programme Social and Behavioural Sciences. However, Humanities students will have second priority in these courses, so participation cannot be guaranteed. Students can also enroll in courses from other Faculties upon request.
