The Master's program in Teacher Education for Secondary Education in Language and Cultural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become first-grade teachers in secondary education. Program Structure

Theoretical Courses

Practical Training

Additional Information

• The program also offers an Educatieve Module, which allows students to complete the first 30 EC of the program and obtain a second-grade teaching qualification.
• Students who complete the Educatieve Module can later choose to complete the full Master's program and obtain a first-grade teaching qualification.
• The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of teaching methods, educational theory, and subject-specific didactics, preparing them for a career as a first-grade teacher in secondary education.
