Computational Social Science Program

The Computational Social Science program is designed for students who have completed their prior education in either the Netherlands or internationally.

Application Process

The application process depends on where the student has completed their prior education.

• Students with Dutch prior education:
  • Deadline: 1 May 2026
  • Application process: Students who have obtained or will obtain a diploma or certificate from a Dutch educational institution (VWO-diploma including Wiskunde A or B or HBO-propaedeutic diploma and VWO-level Wiskunde A or B) can follow the application procedure.
• Students with international prior education:
  • Deadline:
    • For non-EU/EEA students and EU/EEA students with an international degree who require services from the UvA (housing/visa): 1 April 2026
    • For EU/EEA students with an international degree who do not require services from the UvA (housing/visa): 1 May 2026
  • Application process: Students who have obtained or will obtain a diploma or degree certificate from an educational institution outside the Netherlands or at an international school in the Netherlands can follow the application procedure.

UvA Matching

After submitting the enrolment application in Studielink, students will receive an email with their UvAnetID, which can be used to log in to the Enrolment Checklist and sign up for UvA Matching.
