Kids at the Con - Orange Class

Description

The Kids at the Con - Orange Class is designed for 4-5 year olds. Building on the foundational elements developed in the Red class, children are introduced to the first 5 solfa notes (doh-soh). Activities for group interaction are encouraged, as well as some exploration into improvisation. The class has a slightly faster pace than the Red class and begins to investigate rhythmic notation. As parents/guardians do not join in the class, it also encourages independent music-making.

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is located in the castle-like building at the top of Bridge Street on Macquarie Street. For GPS, please use the address 1 Conservatorium Road, Sydney. There is no parking available at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The closest car parks are Domain Car Park, Secure Parking, Sir Stamford at Circular Quay, and Sydney Opera House Car Park. The Conservatorium can also be accessed by public transport, including rail, bus, and ferry.
