Overview
A postgraduate specialisation in Electrical Engineering is concerned with the way electrical energy is produced and used in homes, the community and industry. It will provide you with advanced knowledge in designing and building systems and machines that generate, transmit, measure, control and use electrical energy essential to modern life. Areas of study include wireless engineering, power engineering, high voltage engineering and digital system design. This degree has been given full accreditation at the level of Professional Engineering by the industry governing body, Engineers Australia.
Course requirements
Candidates for the Master of Professional Engineering (Electrical Engineering) complete 144 credit points as listed in the unit of study table. Candidates also complete 12 weeks of practical experience.
