Social Justice (Peace and Conflict Studies)
Overview
The Social Justice (Peace and Conflict Studies) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues surrounding peace and conflict. The program is offered as a Master of Social Justice (Peace and Conflict Studies) and a Graduate Diploma in Social Justice (Peace and Conflict Studies).
Master of Social Justice (Peace and Conflict Studies)
- Students complete 72 credit points, including:
- 24 credit points of core units of study
- 12 credit points of stream core units of study
- A minimum of 12 credit points and a maximum of 30 credit points from selective units of study
- A minimum of 6 credit points and a maximum of 12 credit points from capstone units of study
- A maximum of 18 credit points from elective units of study
- With the permission of the relevant delegate, a maximum of 12 credit points can be taken as elective units from outside those listed in the table, including units of study offered by other faculties.
Graduate Diploma in Social Justice (Peace and Conflict Studies)
- Students complete 48 credit points, including:
- A minimum of 18 credit points of core units of study, including PACS6911
- A minimum of 12 credit points of stream core units of study
- A minimum of 12 and a maximum of 18 credit points from selective units of study
- A maximum of 6 credit points from elective units of study

Capstone Units of Study

- Students must complete either the dissertation, or research project option or the placement program option.
