Program Overview


Bachelor of Education (Primary)

The Bachelor of Education (Primary) is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practices necessary for a successful career in primary education. The program comprises 192 credit points of units of study, including core units, a major in Education Studies, and either a 12-credit-point major in Table A electives or an optional Table A Primary Teaching specialization.

Candidates must complete the following units of study:


  • 132 credit points of core units
  • A 48-credit-point major in Education Studies
  • Either 12 credit points of 4000-level Table A electives or 12 credit points from an optional Table A Primary Teaching specialization
