Program Overview
WILD4104: Taronga Conservation Honours Project B
Overview
In this unit, students will complete an independent research project that will typically focus on topics from the disciplines of zoology, ecology, evolution, and conservation. Together with their supervisors, students will identify a novel research question and then design and carry out their research. The Honours Project is assessed overall through a written research proposal, literature review, research presentation, and a major research paper. Assessment of research capabilities will also form part of the total assessment. Successful completion of the Honours Project at a high level will clearly demonstrate that students have mastered significant research and professional skills for either undertaking a PhD or any variety of future careers.
