Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental and Industrial Hygiene
Program Summary
All students learn to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and design programs and systems to control exposures in the environmental or occupational setting that are causing or may be expected to result in adverse human health effects. Academic study at the Ph.D. level is available in three areas of concentration: Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Ergonomics, and Biomonitoring. Graduate study is supported by a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Education and Research training grant, University, and other resources.
