The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine offers undergraduate education in the basic medical sciences to prepare students to be competitive for admission to professional schools—including medicine, optometry, and dentistry—and graduate programs in the life sciences.
Undergraduate Program in Medical Sciences
The Undergraduate Program in Medical Sciences is designed to provide a rich variety of hands-on experiences in a healthcare, service-learning, global health, or laboratory setting, combined with individual mentoring by medical school faculty, medical students/residents, and graduate students.

- Students and families can schedule a campus visit, including a general UC presentation, a walking tour of campus, and a Close-Up session with a representative from the Medical Sciences Baccalaureate Program.
- The deadline to apply to the Medical Sciences major is December 1.
