Admission Requirements

To apply for the program, you'll need a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. Applicants with bachelor's degrees in other engineering or science disciplines may also be accepted into the program if the student takes additional courses to overcome academic deficiencies. Students with a GPA of less than 3.0 may also be considered for provisional admission on a case-by-case basis.

This non-thesis program requires the completion of 30 credits of coursework, including:


  • 9 credits in environmental engineering
  • 6 credits in engineering and technology management
  • 12 elective credits
  • A 3-credit capstone project
