Program Overview
Fire Officer 2
Fire Officer 2 is a two-week course consisting of 56 instructional hours and one day dedicated to in-person IFSAC testing and certification. This course meets the requirements of the NFPA 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications. The curriculum is designed to equip fire and emergency service professionals with the necessary skills to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of a supervisory company officer. The course covers fundamental aspects such as:
- Company Officer II
- Human Resources and Administrative Responsibilities
- Origin and Cause Determination
- Delivery of Emergency Services
- Safety Investigations and Analyses Upon completion, participants will be ready to undertake the Fire Officer 2 IFSAC certification, including written and practical exam.
