The Cybersecurity program at Washington State University is designed to meet the fast-growing global demand for expertise in cybersecurity. This program teaches concepts and skills in confidentiality, integrity, privacy, risk, adversarial thinking, and security analytics through hands-on coursework.

Transfer Students
Washington State University accepts credit from Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and CLEP exams, associate degrees, Running Start, and more. Transfer students are considered those who have received college credit post-high school. The Transfer Course Search Tool can be used to determine what courses are needed to take at the current institution to transition to WSU smoothly.
Admission Process
Admission to WSU and admission to the desired major are two separate processes. Students should contact their academic department for specific requirements and prerequisites unique to their major.
Scholarships
Students can complete the General Scholarship Application to be eligible for over 700 WSU scholarship programs, including ones specifically for their major of interest. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) should be filled out to be considered for scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of aid.
