The Basic Mountains Operations Course (BMOC) is a comprehensive program that covers the fundamentals of travel, survival, wilderness first aid and rescue, wilderness ethics, and navigation, as well as tactics. This 60+ hour course is taught in an outdoor setting, combining classroom instruction with extended outdoor practice.
