Overview
The dual Bachelor's program in Logopädie (Speech and Language Therapy) is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical training, allowing students to develop the skills and competencies necessary for a successful career in speech and language therapy.
Program Structure
The program is divided into two parts: a three-year training period at the Schule für Logopädie (School of Speech and Language Therapy) at the Universitätsklinikum Aachen (University Hospital Aachen), followed by a one-year study period at the RWTH Aachen University. During the training period, students will acquire practical skills and knowledge in the field of speech and language therapy. The subsequent study period will focus on theoretical aspects and scientific research.
Admission Criteria
To be eligible for the program, students must apply to the Schule für Logopädie at the Universitätsklinikum Aachen. The application period is from November 1st to February 15th of each year.
Program Goals
The program aims to equip students with the theoretical knowledge, methodological skills, and professional competencies necessary to work independently and responsibly in the field of speech and language therapy. Graduates will be able to diagnose and treat speech and language disorders, as well as reflect on and evaluate their interventions.
