Program Overview
Introduction to the T.I.M.E. Double Degree Program
The T.I.M.E. (Top Industrial Managers in Engineering) program is an international academic exchange opportunity that enables students to study at two top-tier universities, earn two master’s degrees in a condensed timeframe, and build a global professional network. The TIME program is designed for highly motivated master’s students in technical disciplines.

Admission Requirements
- Successful completion of a relevant bachelor’s degree from one of the participating faculties or an equivalent German university
- Strong academic record
- Language proficiency (requirements vary by partner university)
Application and Program Structure
- Application Process: The deadline for all applications is January 15.
- All applications must be submitted via the application portal
- Exceptions: Students from Faculty 6 applying to the Universidad de Sao Paolo must submit a separate application directly to the faculty by March 15.
- A mandatory pre-application consultation with your faculty is required
- Program Timeline: The program of study generally follows this structure:
- Year 1: Study at RWTH
- Year 2: Study at partner university
- Year 3: Final theses at both institutions
