Program Overview
Introduction to the Fast-Track-Bachelor-Admission-Programm
The RWTH Aachen enables particularly gifted students to enter a Bachelor's program directly after school, bypassing the usual requirements of attending a Studienkolleg or studying for two semesters in their home country.
Requirements for Admission
To participate in the Fast-Track-Bachelor-Admission-Programm (FTBA), applicants must demonstrate:
- Above-average academic performance in school
- A very good TestAS result
- Solid German language skills
Program Details
The FTBA program includes the following elements:
- Close personal support from the FTBA team before arrival and throughout the studies at RWTH Aachen
- Support with the application and enrollment process
- Organizational support upon arrival in Aachen
- Two semester-accompanying MINT subject language courses to deepen German language skills in the respective field of study
- Weekly subject-specific tutorials throughout the first semester
- Program-specific workshops for better organization of studies
- Program-specific networking events (welcome event, Christmas party, excursions, etc.)
- Mediation of a room in a student dormitory of the RWTH in the first semester

Participants in the FTBA program also benefit from the diverse range of services offered by the RWTH for international students.
Application and Admission
Applications for the FTBA program are possible until May 30, 2022, for selected Bachelor's programs at RWTH Aachen. The selected participants will take part in a specially designed support program.
Program Start
The program starts in the winter semester 2022/2023.
