Overview
The "Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie" (Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy) program is a modular master's degree program at the Medical Faculty of RWTH Aachen University. It can be started consecutively after a polyvalent bachelor's degree in psychology. The program was approved by the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in September 2022. The curriculum corresponds to the requirements of the licensing regulations, with a focus on conveying psychotherapeutic and professional practical competencies in addition to methodological and scientific competencies.

Program Structure

After successfully completing the program, graduates are awarded the academic degree Master of Science (M.Sc.) and fulfill the requirements for admission to the psychotherapeutic examination at the State Examination Office to obtain the license to practice as a psychotherapist.
