Zertifikat Leadership Advanced

The "Zertifikat Leadership Advanced" is a certification program designed for middle-level leaders, such as postdocs, academic middle management leaders, or department heads. This certification is mandatory for permanent leaders.

There are two alternative ways to obtain the "Zertifikat Leadership Advanced":

1. Participants can choose from various events at the Center for Professional Leadership (CPL), the Postdoc Academy, and the Center for Staff Development (CSD):

• Module "Leadership Skills" - minimum of four seminar days or 64 teaching units, including mandatory participation in the three-day workshop "Leading at RWTH" and the three-time three-hour workshop "Power (Abuse) in Leadership"
• For all leaders who conduct employee interviews, a course on conducting employee interviews is also mandatory
• Module "Personal Development" and/or Module "Research and Innovation Skills" - minimum of three seminar days or 32 teaching units
• Module "Performance Readiness" - minimum of two seminar days or 21.3 teaching units
• Module "We-Feeling" - minimum of one seminar day or 10.67 teaching units

2. Participants can complete the qualification course for leaders from science, administration, and technology. The target group includes permanent leaders from the academic middle management as well as from technology and administration. The qualification course takes place over six two-day sessions with a fixed participant group and lasts approximately 15 months. Registration is done via email within a previously announced registration period. After successfully completing the course, which is achieved by attending all modules, participants receive the "Zertifikat Leadership Advanced".

The program aims to provide leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, with a focus on leadership skills, personal development, research and innovation skills, performance readiness, and team building. The certification is a valuable recognition of a leader's expertise and commitment to their professional development. ### Program Details
