Erläuterung
The participants will receive knowledge about modules 1-3 in this E-Learning course.
- Module 1: Participants learn the definition and importance of process management in university administrations. They learn about the benefits and goals of implementing process management and get an overview of the process life cycle: identification, design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization. The importance of process management is illustrated through case studies from the university administration environment.
- Module 2: Participants gain insights into various types of process representations and learn to read and understand process modeling techniques. Particular emphasis is placed on deepening the concepts from Module 1, especially decision points and responsibilities. Another focus is on the NRW modeling guideline with the relevant take-aways. Practical case studies and examples from university administration illustrate the application of process identification and documentation in practice.
- Module 3: Participants learn important criteria and their significance for process analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and uncover potential for improvement. They become familiar with various analysis techniques to recognize and optimize inefficient processes. Concepts for weakness analysis and possibilities for error prevention are also presented. Practical examples of successful process optimizations in university administrations illustrate the application of the learned methods.
