Program Structure

The program consists of a compulsory, an elective, and a free-choice component. The extensive range of elective modules allows for combinations that correspond to personal interests and career prospects. Each area of specialization offers diverse opportunities to build an individual profile. A free-choice module also enables students to explore other course offerings at RWTH Aachen University, such as business, language courses, or IT applications.

Master's Thesis

For the completion of the Master's program, a Master's thesis must be written. This is a scientific project that must be completed within six months. It is also possible to work on the thesis in industry. The Master's thesis is completed with a presentation of the results in a lecture.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for starting the program is a first university degree. The required academic background is formulated in the examination regulations. The examination committee determines whether the admission requirements are met.
