Program Overview


Introduction to the Program

The RWTH Aachen University, in cooperation with the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, offers a new, practice-oriented Bachelor's program in Elementary School Teaching. This program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in educational science and two teaching subjects, as well as practical experience in schools.


Program Structure

The Bachelor's program in Elementary School Teaching is a six-semester program with 180 credit points. The program consists of four subject areas:

  • Mathematics Education
  • Science and Technology Education
  • Educational Science

In addition to these subject areas, students will also complete a Bachelor's thesis and participate in practical training in schools.
