M. Sc. Mineral Resources Engineering (being phased out)

Overview

The M. Sc. Mineral Resources Engineering program is being discontinued, with enrollment no longer possible as of WS 24/25. The course content will be transferred to the new Master's degree program Sustainable Resources and Energy Supply (M. Sc. NREV).

Structure and Contents of Studies

80% of the study course is dedicated to instructing basic knowledge and skills in natural science and engineering subjects. After four semesters, students can decide on specific modules to enhance their knowledge in specialist areas.

Professional Perspectives

Graduates of the B. Sc. course in Mineral Resources Engineering work in mining or blasting engineering and for large energy providers. Those who wish to enhance their skills in the raw material field can study for the subsequent Master degree in Mineral Resources Engineering.
