Master of Public Health Program Overview
The Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Dartmouth is designed to equip students with the skills, vision, and support needed to drive meaningful change in public health and transform their careers. The program is offered in an accelerated on-campus format, allowing students to complete their degree in 11 months.
Curriculum
The curriculum for the MPH program focuses on the development of essential quantitative and analytic skills, foundational knowledge about how healthcare systems function, and how they can be improved. The program is divided into four terms, with the first half of the year weighted towards core requirements and the second half towards elective options.

Program Structure
The academic year is divided into four terms, with students taking classes full-time, approximately 55 hours per week combined coursework and class-time. Students need to complete a minimum of 12 units to graduate, with core courses required and several elective options available to complete their degree.
