Introduction to the Linguistics FSP Auckland & Polynesia Program

The Linguistics FSP Auckland & Polynesia program is a foreign study program offered by the Dartmouth Department of Linguistics. This program takes place in Auckland, New Zealand, and Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.


Program Overview

  • About 10 students are selected for the program.
  • Committed students must also submit an application to the University of Auckland.

Tuition and Fees

  • The fees charged by the College include regular tuition charges, service fees, and specific costs established for each off-campus study locale.
  • Room and board costs may be higher than for a term in Hanover.

Financial Aid

  • The College endeavors to adjust its normal financial aid awards for students already receiving aid.
  • Tuition and expected family contribution for Dartmouth's off-campus programs are the same as for an on-campus term.
  • Additional Dartmouth Scholarship Funds are available to cover costs more than a typical term in Hanover.
