Program Overview

The University of Kansas offers a program in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Digital Electronic Systems. This program is designed for students who are interested in both physics and engineering, or physics with an emphasis on applications.


Program Description

The Digital Electronic Systems concentration allows students to take many of the courses required for the Computer Engineering and Computer Science degrees, while also taking additional advanced physics courses. This concentration improves students' understanding of the fundamentals underlying engineering practice and develops problem-solving skills. Students have access to undergraduate research opportunities in physics or engineering and take senior design courses in both physics and Computer Engineering, providing them with real-world project experience.
