Two-Year J.D. for Foreign-Trained Lawyers
The Two-Year J.D. for Foreign-Trained Lawyers is designed for overseas students who already hold a foreign law degree. The program prepares attorneys to compete in a global economy with full credentials in the U.S.
Program Overview
The program is for overseas students who already hold a foreign law degree and are prepared to complete a J.D. on an accelerated timetable. Students benefit from classes taught by distinguished faculty members and can enjoy life in Lawrence, recognized as one of the best college towns in America.
Program Structure
The program is structured to allow students to complete the degree in two years. A successful candidate for this graduate degree program is admitted with 30 transfer credits and is eligible to complete the degree at the University of Kansas and sit for the bar examination in any state in the U.S.
