Program Overview

BS in Applied Computing with concentration in Journalism

The University of Kansas offers a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing with a concentration in Journalism. This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science and applied computing, as well as a concentration in journalism.

• Some courses may be used to fulfill both major and Core 34 requirements.
• Students should consult with their academic advisor to ensure they are meeting all program requirements.
• The program is approved by the Kansas Board of Regents to require specific Core 34 courses. If a student did not take these courses, they must be taken in addition to other degree requirements.
