Program Overview


Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship

The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship is an experiential learning certificate designed to intentionally connect the skills and knowledge gained in the classroom with activities and experiences occurring outside of the classroom. Experiential learning certificates require students to thoughtfully and continually contemplate their learning through a reflective process.

A certificate in entrepreneurship can benefit students in any program or career path by fostering innovative, strategic thinking.


Entrepreneurship Certificate

This program develops your entrepreneurial competency and builds foundational entrepreneurship skills with the completion of three courses, plus points earned through co-curricular activities as listed on the School of Business website. Open to all students with an accredited undergraduate degree.

Learning Outcomes

At the completion of this program, students will be able to:


  • Evaluate expressed and latent problems experienced by a relevant stakeholder representative of a potential entrepreneurial opportunity.
  • Formulate and systematically evaluate prospective solutions to a given problem representative of a potential entrepreneurial opportunity.
  • Assess the economic value creation potential of a given solution to a given entrepreneurial opportunity.
  • Construct a suitable capital structure for an entity established to monetize a given entrepreneurial opportunity.
