Master's Program in Smart Medicine and Health Informatics (SMARTMHI)

The Master's Program in Smart Medicine and Health Informatics (SMARTMHI) has the following minimum admission requirements:

Admission Requirements

1. English Proficiency Certificate at CEFR B2 (Vantage) or above

• Not required for applicants from English-speaking countries
• Not required for applicants whose previous degree is entirely taught in English (proof required)

2. Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants must check their eligibility and prepare the required documents based on their identity.

For International Students

• Application documents
  • Highest Degree's Graduation Certificate
  • Highest Degree's Full Transcript of Records (including an explanation of the grading system)
  • Financial Statement (a bank statement showing at least NTD 200,000 in savings deposit)
  • Photograph (in color and less than 6 months old)
  • English Proficiency Certificate
  • Passport or ID
  • Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) (if applicable)
  • Receipt of the Application Fee Payment (USD 80)
  • Declaration and Authorization Form
• Documents required by department
  • Autobiography or CV (in English)
  • Study plan/Statement of purpose/Research plan (in English)
  • Academic Honors and Activities (if applicable)
  • Working Experience (if applicable)
  • Two Recommendation Letters

For Taiwanese Students

For Overseas Chinese, H.K. and Macau Students

• Receipt of the Application Fee Payment (TWD 1,500)

Background Requirements

Applicants are required to have a background in Electrical Engineering/Information Management/Computer Science or related fields, or possess relevant experience.
