Geology Investigation II Course
Course Description
The course is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in geology investigation.
Course Schedule
- Registration: September 5 (Friday) 20:00 - September 7 (Sunday) 23:59
- Add/drop period: September 10 (Wednesday) 12:30 - 13:30
- Pre-course lecture: November 1 (Saturday) 09:00 - 12:00
- Rock park practice: November 1 (Saturday) 15:00 - 17:00 and November 2 (Sunday) 10:00 - 12:00
- Field trip: November 14 (Friday) - November 17 (Monday)
- Final exam: December 6 (Saturday) 10:00 - 12:00
Course Requirements
- Students must attend all course activities, including the field trip.
- Students must pay a deposit of $2,000, which will not be refunded.
- Students must provide their own transportation to and from the field trip location.
Course Objectives
- To provide students with hands-on experience in geology investigation.
- To develop students' skills in geological mapping and sampling.
- To enhance students' understanding of geological processes and principles.
