Course Objectives and Requirements
- Course Objective:
- Understand and apply key identification strategies in applied microeconomics
- Work with real-world datasets, including administrative and survey data
- Build efficient and reproducible code using modern tools (e.g., GitHub, VS Code, OpenAI)
- Analyze empirical papers critically and constructively
- Propose and carry out your own empirical labor project
- Expected weekly study hours before and/or after class: 10 hours per week outside of class
