Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems
Overview
The Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems program is a vocational training program that lasts for 3 ½ years. As an electronics technician, graduates will work in the manufacturing of electrical and electronic devices, in test equipment construction, and in test labs. Their main tasks will include manufacturing, testing, programming, commissioning, measuring, and monitoring electrical and electronic products.
Focal Points of the Training
The program focuses on the following areas:
- Assembly of components and individual mechanical elements of modules and devices
- Wiring of modules and devices and establishment of electrical connections, e.g., through soldering
- Assembly and soldering of circuit boards
- Setup and maintenance of electronic devices
- Troubleshooting, testing, and repairs
Prerequisites
Applicants should have received good grades in school, be manually adept, and have a good understanding of technical concepts. Proficiency in English is also a plus.
