The BSN Entry to DNP — Advanced Nursing Focus program educates future healthcare leaders in clinical care, research, and policy. The program combines rigorous theoretical and clinical coursework with hands-on experience, training providers dedicated to increasing health equity.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Specialty
Overview
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialty trains providers to provide excellent community-based, primary care to a wide range of patient populations with complex healthcare needs. Graduates work across the lifespan with diverse populations in various clinical settings, advocating for and empowering individual patients and their families.
Certifications and Licenses
Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible for:
- California Board of Registered Nursing, Nurse Practitioner certificate
- California Board of Registered Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Furnishing certificate
- National DEA license
- American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) national board certification exams for Family Nurse Practitioners
