Program Overview

DPT Program

The entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is a 3-year joint program between University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and San Francisco State University (SFSU). The UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy (DPT) is the top-ranked public-university program on the west coast and in the top 10% nationally. We admit 50 students each year and our graduates go on to become scholarly clinicians, educators, collaborative clinical researchers, administrative managers, and leaders in their communities. The program runs for 36 continuous months beginning in June and includes 34 weeks of full-time clinical experiences.
