Introduction to the UC People Management Series and Certificate

The UC People Management Series and Certificate is a university-wide certificate program designed for new or current supervisors and managers within the University of California system. This program aims to build baseline management skills, increase opportunities for career growth, and provide easily accessible online courses that are learner-centric and self-paced.

How to Earn the Certificate

• Complete: 16 core courses and 4 elective courses (one from each of 4 elective topic areas).
• Acquiring the certificate: Upon completion of certificate requirements, participants will receive a confirmation email by the next business day. Within 5 business days, the certificate will be noted in the UC Learning Center Transcript.
• Cost: There is no cost for participants in the certificate program, providing development opportunities for all UC employees.
