Program Overview

Rutgers Army ROTC Program

The Army ROTC Officer Training Program includes all of the following course requirements. In addition, there is a Cadet Command Military History requirement that needs to be fulfilled prior to commissioning as an officer.

Program Structure

The program is structured across four years, with specific courses and topics covered each year.

• Freshman Year: Preparing for Success as an Army Officer
  • Fall Class: Foundation of Officership (03:691:101)
  • Spring Class: Basic Leadership (03:691:102)
  • Topics covered include:

• Sophomore Year: The Role of an Officer
