Executive Master of Public Administration

The Executive Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is designed for working professionals, offering a convenient and flexible way to complete a Master's degree in just two years. The program is offered by the Rutgers-Camden Department of Public Policy and Administration and equips students for senior roles in public service and nonprofit leadership.

Program Format

The program features a unique hybrid format that blends online learning with in-person connections, fostering collaboration between experienced peers and renowned Rutgers faculty. The program format includes:

• In-Person Classes: Held on the first two Saturdays of each month at the Crowne Plaza Princeton Conference Center
• Zoom Classes: Held on the third and fourth Saturday of each month
• Classes meet from 9:00 a.m. – noon
• Fall: September – December
• Spring: February – April
• Summer Residency: One-week intensive session during the first full week of June

Who Should Apply?

This highly selective program is ideal for mid- to senior-level professionals with at least five years of administrative or managerial experience. The program does not require GRE or standardized tests, and students can earn 12 credits for their professional experience upon admission.
