PNP Management Certificate for Current MPA and EMPA Students

PNP Management Certificate
The Public and Nonprofit Management certificate can be earned by MPA and Executive MPA students in the Department of Public Policy and Administration (DPPA) at Rutgers–Camden.
Certificate Description
The courses taken to earn this certificate allow students to develop management skills for government or nonprofit management.
Certificate Requirements
Students must complete at least four of the following courses selected from the list below:
- Any Four of the Following Classes

- Introduction to Public Budgeting & Finance | Non EMPA | 56:834:515
- Technology for Public and Nonprofit Managers | 56:831:525 | 56:834:525
- Public Management Information Systems | 56:831:536 | 56:834:536
- Human Resources Management | 56:831:557 | 56:834:557
Certificate Completion
To complete the certificate, students must fill out a form, selecting the program option “Public and Nonprofit Management” and inputting the specific courses completed that fulfill the requirements for this certificate. The EMPA or MPA Director and the Graduate School will process the form.
