The MBS Geospatial Information Systems & Technology (GIS&T) concentration prepares students with the knowledge, tools, and technical expertise needed to excel in this rapidly growing field. Students explore both the theoretical foundations of GIS and the societal and environmental impacts of geospatial technologies.

Admission Requirements

  • Academic: An undergraduate degree in a science-specific discipline is preferred, and applicants should have a solid background in—and deep understanding of—calculus and statistics. If necessary, students can take calculus and/or statistics courses while earning their MBS degree.
