Program Overview
The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Rutgers-Atlantic Cape Community College is designed for students interested in transferring into the program. Completion of specific Atlantic Cape Community College courses is recommended before enrollment.
Recommended Courses
The following courses are recommended to be completed as part of or in addition to an associate’s degree program:
- ECON110 – Macroeconomics
- ECON111 – Microeconomics
- MATH220 – Statistical Methods
- ACCT130 – Financial Accounting
- CISM125 – Introduction to Computers
- BUSN210 – Business Law I
- MATH150 – Pre-calculus
Admission Requirements
Students must complete at least half of the above courses to be considered for admission. Completion of an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree is required to be considered for admission. The Associate in Science Business Administration degree is the recommended associate’s degree program at Atlantic Cape, which includes most of the above courses as part of that program.
Transfer Credits
Students may transfer up to 60 credits from a community college to Rutgers-School of Business Camden and must receive a grade of C or better for a course to be transferred in. A minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA is recommended to be considered for admission.
Program Structure
Courses for the Business Administration degree at Rutgers at Atlantic Cape Community College are a combination of courses taught in class at the ACCC-Mays Landing campus and online courses. Students interested in transferring into this program should be comfortable with taking online courses.
