Program Overview
Bachelor of Science in Labor Studies
The Bachelor of Science in Labor Studies is a program offered at Rutgers in Blackwood. For students interested in transferring into this program, completion of the following Camden County Community College courses is recommended before enrollment:
- MTH111 – Introduction to Statistics
- This course is recommended for all students.
- MTH122 – College Algebra
- This course is recommended for students completing an Associate in Applied Science Degree.
Admission Criteria
To be considered for admission, students must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Completion of an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree is strongly recommended before transferring and is preferred to completion of an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.
Transfer Credits
Students may transfer up to 60 credits from a community college to the School of Management and Labor Relations. To be transferred, a course must have a grade of C or better.
Program Structure
The Labor and Employment Relations degree at Rutgers at CCC is a combination of courses taught in class at the CCC-Blackwood campus and online courses. Students interested in transferring into this program should be comfortable with taking the majority of their courses online.

For students who have not completed an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree at Camden County Community College, it is recommended to consult with a Rutgers at CCC advisor prior to applying to transfer to discuss transfer eligibility.
