The Department of Anthropology offers various programs for undergraduate and graduate students.

Undergraduate Programs

• The department provides three majors:
  • B.A. in Anthropology
  • B.A. in Cultural Anthropology
  • B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology
• Four minors are also offered.
• A Certificate in Evolutionary Medicine is available.
• Courses and course schedules are provided for students.
• Student advising and honors programs are also available.
• The department offers field schools, internships, and undergraduate clubs.

• Course Description: An interdisciplinary approach to understanding the idea and the reality of the extinction process. Extinction as a challenge of the 21st century. Topics include extinctions of fossil hominins, cultures, religions and ethnic groups, language, and endangered species; and the possible extinction of our own species.
