The Department of Anthropology offers various programs for undergraduate and graduate students.

Undergraduate Programs

• The department provides three majors:
  • B.A. in Anthropology
  • B.A. in Cultural Anthropology
  • B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology
• Four minors are also offered.
• A Certificate in Evolutionary Medicine is available.
• Courses and course schedules are provided for students.
• Student advising and honors programs are also available.
• The department offers field schools, internships, and undergraduate clubs.

• Course Description: Introductory exploration of the role of gender in organizing social relations and symbolic systems across the globe. Draws on comparative ethnographic readings to examine issues of gender and inequality, family, religion, work, sexuality, popular culture, and global processes.
