Department of Anthropology

The Department of Anthropology offers various programs for undergraduate and graduate students.

Undergraduate Programs

• The department provides three majors:
  • B.A. in Anthropology
  • B.A. in Cultural Anthropology
  • B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology
• Four minors are also offered.
• A Certificate in Evolutionary Medicine is available.
• Courses and course schedules are provided, including summer and winter courses.
• Student advising and honors programs are available, including an undergraduate honors timeline.
• Career opportunities in anthropology, field schools, internships, and undergraduate clubs are also offered.

• Course Description: Advanced evolutionary theory, biochemical and genetic approaches, primate morphology and behavior, and modern theories of human variability.
