Program Overview
Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program
The Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program is designed to provide fellows with comprehensive training in cardiovascular medicine. The program has grown from 10 fellows to 18 total fellows over the last 4 years, with expanded rotations at the primary site and two additional training sites.
Quality of Training Program
The program has ACGME accreditation and has received commendations for demonstrating substantial compliance with the Program Requirements. Fellows are prepared to achieve Board Certification prior to fellowship graduation in the following areas:
- American Society of Echocardiography
- Nuclear Cardiology
- Cardiovascular Computed Tomography
The program has a 100% Board Pass Rate on the National Board of Echocardiography exam, which fellows take at the start of their third year in fellowship. Fellows also have full access to the American College of Cardiology’s Cardiosource Plus for Institutions, providing immediate and convenient access to cutting-edge cardiovascular information.
