Air, Water & Health
The Air, Water & Health program focuses on the challenges of sustaining good quality air and water, the influence of degraded resources, and options for maintaining clean air and water.
ENVST5559 - Capstone: Air, Water, & Health Sustainability
This course reviews and critiques prevailing theories and models of environmental and sustainability studies. Students assess the success of various approaches towards sustainability in various sectors of society pertaining to air and water resources and their effect on the health of humans and other biota. Students reflect on their role as responsible citizens and members of the job market and practice skills needed in both areas. The course includes a group project that contributes to a more sustainable University of Utah campus.
